Psychologist - Ball Memorial Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychologist to join our team at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to patient-centered care and help us deliver exceptional mental health services to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning, to identify patients' mental health needs and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals to create integrated care plans that address patients' physical and mental health needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes to ensure high-quality care and inform future treatment decisions.
- Monitor patients and manage referrals for depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic health issues, pain, and stress, providing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal mental health outcomes.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Indiana.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for delivering high-quality mental health services.
