Position Overview

The role of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) encompasses responsibilities in both adult and NICU settings. The therapist will be expected to float across various units, including a 6-bed ILN/NICU.

Job Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an RRT; CRT with over 10 years of experience accepted.
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT, and a valid state license are mandatory.
  • On-call Requirements: Not required.
  • Floating: Flexibility to float within scope based on facility needs.
  • Block Schedule: Considered at the discretion of management.
  • Local Candidates: Accepted.
  • Pending Licenses: Accepted under specific conditions.
  • RTO Restrictions: Determined by management.
  • Special Skills: Must possess experience in both adult and NICU care.
  • Respiratory Skills: Proficiency in airway management, ventilator management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, and handling high-risk deliveries.

Travelers in driving positions must provide a copy of their valid driver's license, ensuring it is a valid state license.
