Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our apartment community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the property, managing staff, and maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance the value of the property/asset, and manage the asset to meet the Client's expressed operational and financial goals.
  • Supervise all on-site staff, including Assistant Community Director, Resident Services Coordinator(s), Compliance Specialist(s), Leasing Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor(s), Maintenance Technician(s), Make-Ready or Rehab Technician(s), Groundskeeper(s), Painter(s), and Housekeeper(s).
  • Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI Management, Inc.
  • Develop and manage the site team members, including participating in the hiring, training, and evaluation of employees.
  • Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations, and oversee and exhibit professional leasing techniques.
  • Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover.
  • Ensure compliance of Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assist residents with reporting of maintenance needs, and document facility and maintenance needs and ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property management, with a focus on community operations and staff management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
