Estimator Job Description

As a key member of our preconstruction team, you will work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver exceptional results. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately estimate projects from conceptual through construction document phases. You will also be responsible for presenting Value Engineering ideas when required, interpreting and comparing contractor proposals, and preparing quantity surveys for construction trade work. Additionally, you will maintain subcontractor relations, build subcontractor interest for future bids, and assist in maintaining historical cost databases and subcontractor databases. You will also be responsible for negotiating, awarding, and writing subcontracts, accurately estimating general condition costs, and navigating REVIT models. If you have a strong background in construction or civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering
* 5-10+ years of experience in estimating
* High-end residential experience bidding
* Efficient in high-level software experience
* Strong interpersonal communication
* Strong attention and accuracy to detail

* Strong work ethic
