About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Experiential Therapist to join our team at Newport Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based care to adolescents and young adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and facilitate weekly therapy groups and individual sessions in your area of specialization.
  • Support the program with assessments, crisis management, and other clinical functions as required.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Conduct assessments or crisis management as needed, and assess milieu needs to adjust therapeutic interventions accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the clinical director on program development and scheduling therapeutic services and group activities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a clinical or expressive arts discipline.
  • Board registered or licensed in the state where services are provided.
  • Board certified in your area of specialization, preferred.
  • Experience providing group and individual therapy with adolescents and young adults in a residential setting, preferred.
