Job Summary

The Human Resources Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting Coastline Equity in various human resources activities, including recruitment, team member relations, training and development, benefits administration, and talent management. This position will contribute significantly to our company's success as we continue to grow and expand our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital through various initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive working environment for all team members, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Administer a performance appraisal system to ensure fair and equitable evaluations.
  • Support the maintenance of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Design, implement, and monitor training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Address team member concerns, grievances, or other issues, and support team member relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining a proactive approach to HR management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HR generalist or specialist, with a strong focus on recruitment and administration.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HR systems and databases, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the company.
  • Familiarity with labor law and HR best practices in California is a plus.
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
