About the Role

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is a leading consulting engineering firm seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our team in Houston. As a key member of our mechanical engineering group, you will play a critical role in developing and documenting system designs for technically sophisticated facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria
  • Interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design and information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research
  • Exercise independent judgment to ensure high-quality designs

Requirements
  • BSAE or BSME required
  • 3+ years' experience designing HVAC building systems in technically sophisticated facilities
  • PE License or ability to become licensed
  • Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred
