Support Professional

Great Bay Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to access the community and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support to individuals in implementing their Person-Centered Plan goals.
- Promote quality community connections for members by seeking and developing opportunities in community settings.
- Ensure the health and safety of members at all times.
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner, including email correspondence, daily notes, mileage logs, timesheets, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Provide transportation for members in the community using your personal vehicle.
- Be a positive role model and advocate for member rights and choice.
- Work with individuals of all abilities, including those with personal care needs and behavioral accommodations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified DSPs preferred; training will be provided if needed
- MANDT certification preferred, training will be provided if needed
- Prior experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
- First Aid & CPR Certified; training will be provided if needed
- Valid Driver's License with a legally registered vehicle
- Carry Mandatory Auto Insurance of no less than 100K/300K
- Must pass routine criminal background check, DHHS background check, motor vehicle check, and any others required to comply with Medicaid funding
