Job Description

This Dietary Health Consultant will work closely with our multidisciplinary treatment approach, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized care to guide each patient toward a healthier lifestyle. Responsibilities include providing optimal nutritional care to patients in compliance with Joint Commission standards and company policies.

  • Perform nutritional assessments according to facility policies and Joint Commission standards
  • Meet directly with patients to complete assessments and educations
  • Develop and monitor nutrition care plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field, as well as current certification as a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensure in accordance with the State of Alaska laws.
