Palliative Care Specialist

In this role as a Palliative Care Specialist, you will work with an established interdisciplinary team to provide Hospice and Palliative Medicine services. This position requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar field and is ideal for board-certified candidates who are passionate about rural medicine.
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per annum
About the RoleThis Palliative Care Specialist will be responsible for providing inpatient and outpatient Palliative care services. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a rural setting and be familiar with the WWAMI School of Medicine and Alaska Family Medicine Residency programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a Palliative care setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in teaching opportunities with the WWAMI School of Medicine and Alaska Family Medicine Residency programs
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field
- Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (or equivalent)
- Passion for rural medicine and ability to work effectively in a team environment
