Supervise and Lead Nursing Staff

The Evening Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained at our 84-bed Skilled Nursing facility. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient care plans, and mentoring and training staff to foster a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Support Nursing Staff: Ensure high standards of care are maintained by providing guidance and support to nursing staff.
  • Coordinate Patient Care Plans: Work closely with the Director of Nursing and other disciplines to ensure patient care plans are developed and implemented in accordance with medical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Mentor and Train Staff: Foster a collaborative and professional environment by mentoring and training nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations to provide constructive feedback and support staff development.
  • Handle Patient Concerns: Ensure effective communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers by handling patient concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License: A current RN license is required for this role.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a nursing supervisory role is essential for this position.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills are necessary to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
