Job Summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide psychological treatment and neuropsychological assessment services to hospital or program patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide neuropsychological assessment and psychological treatment (individual, group and family) in accordance with ethical principles.
  • Coordinate all aspects of neuropsychological testing, including scheduling patients and monitoring productivity.
  • Interact effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and train and supervise psychology residents, practicum students, and fellows.
  • Consistently perform role as primary therapist as assigned by the Manager, interacting effectively with external case managers, DARS, insurance company representatives, employers, schools, and other healthcare providers.
  • Complete special projects, such as participation in presentations, research, and others as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
  • Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Successful completion of an APA-accredited predoctoral internship or a formal (APPCN) post-doctoral training program in neuropsychology.
  • Board eligible or board certified.
  • Current license to practice psychology from the Texas Board of Examiners of Psychology.
  • One (1) year prior experience as a member of a multidisciplinary team in either rehabilitation or psychiatric setting.
