Job Title: Physical Therapist

Moody Neuro Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from neurological disorders and injuries.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care and develop individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurological rehabilitation and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including physical therapy treatments and exercises
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • Current licensure to practice physical therapy in Texas
  • Experience working with neurological patients and conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

The Physical Therapist will be required to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods. The work environment is clean and safe, with minimal exposure to chemicals or hazardous materials.

The Physical Therapist will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.

The Physical Therapist will be required to work a standard 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed.

The Physical Therapist will be expected to participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and maintain licensure.

The Physical Therapist will be required to maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient progress notes and treatment plans.

The Physical Therapist will be expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, including referring practitioners and other healthcare professionals.

The Physical Therapist will be required to participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives as assigned by the Program Director or Clinical Manager.

The Physical Therapist will be expected to uphold the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization and department while maintaining strict confidentiality of personnel and patients.
