Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist with a hand therapy background to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have specialized experience in treating conditions of the hand, wrist, and upper extremities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and set measurable, functional goals.
  • Treat patients, answer their concerns, and educate them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes.
  • Supervise aides when providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients.
  • Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals.
  • Determine when to discharge patients.
  • Write timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.

Requirements

  • Masters in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license.
  • CHT preferred but not required.
