Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Indianapolis Public Schools. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic achievement and social participation of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized plans to support students with occupational therapy needs
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including one-on-one therapy sessions and group consultations
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support student success
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and develop recommendations for accommodations and modifications
  • Develop and implement adaptive equipment and integrated activities to support student participation and engagement
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Indiana Occupational Therapy License
  • Certification in Occupational Therapy from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or National Board in Certified Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
