Harrison Consulting Solutions is an industry leading multi-disciplinary team that's seeking a skilled Highway Infrastructure Development Specialist for their Columbus-based team.

**Job Summary:**

We're looking for a highly qualified Transportation Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for designing and developing various types of roadway/highway improvement projects.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop horizontal/vertical roadway/highway alignments, design modeling, and engineering calculations
  • Perform all aspects of roadway/highway design (drainage design, maintenance of traffic, pavement marking/striping and signing)
  • Prepare preliminary/detailed design plans, quantities, specifications, and construction cost estimates
  • Use technical expertise for the development, evaluation, selection, and modification of standards engineering techniques/procedures
  • Occasional client and sub-consultant communication
  • Site visits periodically
  • Assist with Request for Information during construction phase

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience
  • PE License in Ohio or ability to obtain within six months
  • Experience using AASHTO, ODOT Design Criteria, and FDOT Design Criteria
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation, and Geopak
  • Experience using Open Roads preferred

**What We Offer:**

Our competitive salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
