Job Title: Clinical Nurse - Spine Center Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and applying the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, transition of care, promotion of health, and prevention of disease, anticipating their needs and readiness to learn.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing program, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant clinical experience.
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse with current registration in New York State.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Saver (BLS), NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
