About the Role

Yona Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EVS Manager in Training to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping, floor care, and laundry departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Staff Management: Interview, hire, and orient new staff members, as well as train existing employees on housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the department meets federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Forecast and plan the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Staff Development: Promote the professional growth and development of departmental team members, and conduct quality assurance rounds to ensure current quality controls and methodologies are suitable and sustainable.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, and other departments to ensure excellent customer service and maintain a positive reputation for Yona Solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Four-year college degree and equal related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, and quality attitude; ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives; public speaking skills; and ability to interact positively with residents, clients, and other personnel.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
