Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems and fixtures related to heating, cooling, water distribution, and waste management in both residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications to plan the layout for plumbing systems.
- Assemble and install pipes and fixtures; adjust lengths of pipes and fittings as necessary for effective installation and service.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, identifying and replacing any defective components.
- Examine drainage and plumbing systems to ensure they meet building codes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman (or Master) Plumbing License in the applicable state.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical and trade experience.
- Thorough understanding of plumbing system maintenance and repair, along with knowledge of safety standards in the construction industry.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively on a technical level.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
- Basic proficiency in computer and smart device usage.
