Project Engineer Role Overview

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Group. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our construction projects, working closely with our team to ensure timely completion, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, budget variance analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
