Job Summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes for our guests. Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, under the direction of an Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef.
  • Station Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Collaboration with Kitchen Team: Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a fine dining environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
  • Certifications: Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work on your feet in a humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more, with the ability to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
