Reporting to the On-Site Account Manager, the Catering Operations Specialist is tasked with providing a tailored level of service while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding client information. Collaboration with various departments such as Operations, IT, Finance, and Marketing & Sales is essential to guarantee a seamless experience for our clients within the Air Culinaire framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Responsibilities
    • Support all operational functions within the team.
    • Log into the designated phone queue as directed by management.
    • Manage assigned emails as coordinated by management.
    • Process orders accurately and promptly.
    • Document all relevant information regarding orders thoroughly.
    • Utilize company software to identify approved suppliers for orders.
    • Research pricing for custom items using authorized company websites.
    • Maintain direct communication with the supply chain for order clarification.
    • Log Process Events in accordance with departmental guidelines.
    • Resolve Event issues by following the established credit matrix or engaging management support.
    • Conduct self-quality checks on orders to ensure accuracy and minimize potential issues.
    • Confirm orders post-QC and ensure necessary follow-ups with suppliers.
    • Communicate any relevant issues to management at the end of the shift for handover to the next team.
    • Engage with management as necessary for operational support.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices, including record keeping and correspondence etiquette.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
