Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures on a 1.5 T magnetic resonance imaging scanner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Competently perform imaging procedures on patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Recognize and interpret cross-sectional anatomy to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Inject contrast media as needed and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Utilize RIS/PACS and HIS systems for proper recording and dissemination of patient results.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- Recent hospital-related experience, preferably in digital imaging and post-processing PACS.
- MRI certification by ARRT (or must become certified within the first year of employment).
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 24 ECE credits for re-certification and licensure within a two-year period.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to plan, organize, and set goals for review and evaluation.
Pay Range = $46.88
