At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures on a 1.5 T magnetic resonance imaging scanner. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Experience
    • Recent hospital-related experience
    • Digital Imaging and post-processing PACS experience
  • Licenses/Certifications
    • MRI certified by ARRT (or must become certified within first year of employment)
    • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
    • 24 ECE credits for re-certification and licensure

Key Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of patient care and safety issues related to all age groups
  • Strong communication skills for effective information exchange
  • Ability to plan, organize, and set goals for review and evaluation
  • Knowledge of state and federal health safety laws and TJC Standards
  • Ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy and establish access to veins for IV contrast
  • Basic knowledge of medical equipment and computer skills
