Caldwell Regional Medical Center is seeking a Hospital Cleaning Specialist to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, bathrooms, and other areas of the hospital. This includes washing beds and mattresses, keeping utility and storage rooms clean, replacing soiled drapes and curtains, disinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, cleaning rugs, carpet, upholstered furniture, and draperies, dusting furniture and equipment, polishing metal work, washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork, washing windows, doors, and sills, emptying wastebaskets, transporting trash and waste to disposal areas, replenishing bathroom supplies, and replacing light bulbs.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The physical demands of this job include standing and walking regularly, using hands to handle objects frequently, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment is typically moderate noise levels, but can be extreme occasionally.
