Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and prepare design calculations for transportation structures in accordance with AASHTO LRFD and DOT specifications.
  • Conduct bridge inspections and write inspection reports.
  • Support completion of final submittal documents for design and/or rehabilitation projects.
  • Assist with business development and project growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience on transportation projects for MDOT, MdTA, MTA, and local MD agencies.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) Licensure, Maryland License Preferred.
  • Qualified NBIS Inspection Team Leader.
  • Experience with MicroStation CAD software, FEM structural analysis software, and bridge design and analysis software.
