As a Healthcare Recruiter and Business Development Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the formulation of strategic recruitment plans, utilizing innovative and cost-effective methods.
  • Developing and executing targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Aiding in the establishment of best practice recruitment efforts and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Leading the candidate relationship process to enhance the candidate experience, retention rates, and encourage referrals.
  • Creating engaging recruitment marketing materials, from job descriptions and live events to campaigns that attract candidates to the organization.
  • Assisting with the coordination of recruitment advertising, including creating and posting job openings and utilizing online recruiting tools.
  • Conducting employment verifications, full credentialing, and all prescreening components, along with customizing job descriptions and offer letters.
  • Supporting all aspects of staffing schedules.
  • Aiding in the implementation of staffing scheduling platforms.
  • Ensuring accurate information is maintained in staffing scheduling systems.
  • Assisting with matching staffing assignments.
  • Creating and updating client information sheets for internal records and staffing personnel.
  • Verifying licenses and credentials for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assisting in managing all electronic onboarding processes and timelines.
  • Developing and overseeing all facets of Digital Marketing Strategy, including website management, social media, online review management, drip campaigns, quarterly success stories, and blogs.
  • Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities within the staffing service line and developing relationships with potential clients.
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of business strategies with staffing administrators, analyzing data, and aligning goals to achieve objectives through recruitment, sales, account management, and business development.
  • Cultivating community partnerships for staffing sales/contracts.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources for staffing, including clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community resources, and other targeted markets and service lines.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations regarding Interim HealthCare to organizations where prospective clients may be reached or influenced.
  • Implementing account development strategies/contracts to promote and secure growth in the staffing business line.
  • Completing additional assignments as requested and assigned.
Essential qualifications for our Healthcare Recruiter and Business Development Specialist include:

A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent years of training and work experience.

A minimum of five (5) years of successful recruitment, marketing, and sales experience with comparable clients, preferably in healthcare services.
  • Agency sales experience, ideally in clinical staffing, with extensive knowledge of the Charleston market
Proven effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels within and outside the organization.

Familiarity with medical staffing and recruitment, referral sources, and market dynamics.

Proficiency in computer and Internet applications.

Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Ability to achieve goals under tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and limited resources.

Proven capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team and maintain high motivation.
