Position Title:

Personal Care Assistant / Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Overview:

We are in search of empathetic individuals to fulfill the role of Personal Care Assistant. In this capacity, you will be tasked with delivering vital personal care services customized to the specific needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with laundry tasks for patients as needed.
  • Provide reminders for medication administration.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Communicate significant changes in a patient's condition to the supervising staff.
  • Prepare light meals and assist with feeding patients when necessary.
  • Monitor and document patient temperature.
  • Support patients with mobility and ambulation.
  • Facilitate range of motion exercises and other basic physical activities.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with care protocols.
  • Adhere to privacy policies and infection control measures.
  • Assist with bathing and personal hygiene.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties.
  • Provide companionship services, including reading and letter-writing.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
  • Comply with training requirements in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
