POSITION SUMMARY
The Turf Management Specialist is tasked with the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to the lawns of both commercial and residential clients, in addition to executing various turf-care responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to client lawns utilizing standard industry equipment.
- Performs turf-care tasks such as lawn aeration and seeding.
- Calculates appropriate application rates and prepares chemical mixtures accordingly.
- Prepares and submits daily reports detailing chemical applications.
- Ensures proper handling, transportation, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
- Adheres to safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and the Department of Agriculture.
- Monitors the health care needs of lawns.
- Engages respectfully with clients on-site as necessary.
- Follows all safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and cleanliness protocols.
- Reports to work punctually each day, striving for excellence.
- Completes other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Possession of a registered technician license or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to accurately calculate application rates for fertilizers and related chemicals.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- While performing job duties, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Employees may encounter chemicals found in fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides.
- Standing for extended periods and lifting tools or other items may be required.
- An employee should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
