Key Responsibilities
  • Fraud Pattern Analysis: Monitor and identify potential risks and threats to our financial systems, utilizing advanced data analysis techniques and tools.
  • Reporting and Dashboard Development: Design and develop reports and dashboards in Tableau to provide insights and trends to management, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Procedure Development: Write and publish program procedures and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Continuously assess and refine fraud prevention measures to ensure effectiveness and highlight areas for improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to support ongoing fraud prevention efforts, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare documentation and reports for regulatory examinations, audits, and internal reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on risk management and/or fraud prevention.
  • A degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g., Statistics, Finance, Economics, Math, Sciences, Engineering).
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and execute independently, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Mastery of SQL and a strong understanding of data relationships/relational databases, experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with working with Snowflake and Tableau.
  • Exceptional writing abilities are highly desirable.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Experience in the banking and/or fintech industry.
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention tools and techniques.
