Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) Lead to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a QIDP Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for individuals on your caseload, ensuring that their needs and preferences are met.
• Lead and coordinate the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to ensure effective collaboration and communication among team members.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to QIDPs, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality services.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of ISP plans, programs, and services, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and supports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and community partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities, applying this knowledge to improve services and supports.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as special education, psychology, or social work.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of the IDT process, people-centered planning, and rehabilitation and skills acquisition programs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
