  • Conduct regular patrols of designated areas within the facilities and respond promptly to emergencies and service requests.
  • Control and authorize access for vehicles and individuals entering the premises.
  • Remove unauthorized individuals or trespassers from the property.
  • Perform thorough security inspections of all exits, doors, and access points.
  • Report any potential hazards or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor surveillance systems to ensure safety and security.
  • Engage in both interior and exterior patrols of the facility.
  • Enforce traffic and parking regulations within assigned areas and participate in foot and vehicle patrols.
  • Proactively identify and respond to potential security threats.
  • Document and manage security incidents and hazards effectively.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to policies regarding alarms and emergency preparedness plans.
  • Operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Assist employees and visitors as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include adjustments to the regular work schedule based on operational needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • CPR Certification is preferred; training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a security role is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license for the state of Wisconsin is required, along with the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including cold, rain, or heat.
  • Must be capable of lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, or ladders during shifts.
  • Must be able to stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods.
  • Ability to maintain focus and stay alert throughout the shift.
