Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Line Operator to join our team at Berry Global, Inc. As a Machine Line Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all Company policies regarding safety, quality, and attendance.
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to the Section Operator.
  • Ensure a quality product through regular quality checks by reading and verifying line orders and spec sheets.
  • Report any out-of-spec products as needed to ensure a quality product is produced.
  • Properly package finished goods to include correct use of labels, chips, sleeves, twist ties, pallet patterns, and code stamps.
  • Verify and execute pallet patterns.
  • Maintain a clean work area and meet plant and department housekeeping standards.
  • May be assigned additional housekeeping responsibilities throughout the plant as needed.
  • May be assigned to multiple winders, bag machines, etc., based on bag count and line speed, as deemed necessary by management.
  • Must be able to constantly bend, stoop, and climb to perform regular duties of the job.
  • Operate multiple production lines as needed.
  • Responsible for making boxes and packaging bags.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED, preferred.
  • Experience in a team-work oriented environment a plus.
  • Working knowledge of extrusion/converting equipment and process desired.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
