About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Duly Health and Care. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting in the diagnosis and screening for cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner, following department protocols and radiologist direction.
  • Corroborate patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with department standards.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results and minimize anxiety.
  • Select and operate breast imaging equipment and associated devices to achieve desired results.
  • Position patients and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, explaining the need for breast compression while respecting patient comfort.
  • Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
  • Participate in staff meetings, maintain positive work relationships, and maintain confidentiality regarding patient and organizational information.
Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced certification in Mammography.
  • Active ARRT certification status maintained by fulfilling continuing education requirements.
  • Illinois State Licensure (IEMA).
  • CPR Certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
