About the Role

Gentle Dental is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the front and back office staff, ensuring optimal patient care and customer service.
  • Operational Efficiency: Evaluate and review office production and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage office budgets, oversee procurement of supplies and equipment, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Human Resources: Recruit, retain, and terminate staff as needed, working closely with HR to resolve employee issues and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Process dental insurance claims, work with HMO and PPO dental plans, and present treatment plans to patients.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant state dental laws, maintain a safe work environment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software systems, including Denticon, and ability to analyze and interpret data for managerial reporting.
