Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including MRI machines, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in MRI and ARMRIT certification in MRI.
- Advanced to intermediate experience in diagnostic imaging, with a focus on neuro imaging, body, angiography, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Experience working with patients with multiple implanted devices and in a Level 1 trauma center environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
