Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at CharterCARE Health Partners. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment, performing ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in areas such as OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, and vascular.
  • Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
  • Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound training program.
  • ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN or Vascular.
  • Prior experience preferred in performing abdomen, small parts, and OB/GYN or Vascular exams.
Skills and Abilities
  • Anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to recognize subtle differences between health and pathological areas.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to operate all ultrasound equipment.
  • Manage patient during Ultrasound exam.
  • Proper Quality assurance.
  • Maintain information confidential (HIPAA).
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Ability to utilize responsive customer service skills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills, and age of customers.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers and other interdisciplinary teams.
Working Conditions, Physical Environment, and/or Safety Requirements

Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching, and reaching. Physical ability involves pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 30 lbs.
