Rail Grinder

We are seeking a skilled Rail Grinder to join our team at voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for grinding, fitting, and assembling track work related products according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate grinder and power tools to grind and fit track work related products
- Finish grind, weld, fit, and assemble steel, iron, and manganese track work related products as specified
- Safely operate jib and overhead cranes to move materials and equipment
- Grind all transition rail built at the plant to meet quality standards
- Read and follow production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Perform routine clean up work area to maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Work with minimal supervision to meet production goals and deadlines
- Adhere to Nortrak's Safety, Quality, and Environmental Procedures, Practices, and Policies
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Welding, Forklift, and Crane certification preferred
- Ability to read work orders, ITP's, blue prints, rulers, and tape measures
- Basic mathematical calculation experience in adding and subtracting whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Pueblo, Colorado
- $21.07/hr - $22.69/hr
