CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at EVRAZ North America. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality rolls for our Rolling Mills.

• Operate and maintain CNC lathes, grinders, and other machinery to produce rolls with precise tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Select and utilize the correct tools, templates, and programs to optimize machine operation.
• Collaborate with Rolling Mill personnel to ensure smooth production and maintain mill production.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Notify supervision and maintenance personnel of any abnormal job or equipment conditions.

• 3-5 years of experience as a CNC operator or machinist.
• Demonstrated ability to read prints and technical drawings.
• 2 or 4-year degree in CNC programming, machining, or a related field.
• Knowledge of industrial tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
