Flexible scheduling and up to 1 day per week work from home is permitted, however the role is primarily in office.

Job Description

Futurety is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support project leads by overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, and within scope.

You will work closely with project leads and cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budget estimates.
  • Support Account Directors and Project Leads by managing multiple data analytics projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Plan resource availability and allocation.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Azure, BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
  • Three to five years working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
