About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Department at Rust Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care to patients with cancer and those undergoing treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver chemotherapy and biotherapy products to cancer patients
  • Provide education to patients and their families on cancer treatment and management
  • Prioritize patient care using a standards-based framework model
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico or Compact State
  • BLS certification required at time of hire
  • Chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification required within 1 month of hire
  • National Oncology Certification required within 2-3 years of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of medical-surgical or ICU nursing experience
  • Experience in Oncology or Infusion centers preferred
