Job Summary

Tactical Air Support is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our offices and industrial buildings.

This is a critical role that requires a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of offices, industrial buildings, and surrounding areas.
  • Dust, sweep, mop, and polish floors, walls, and fixtures.
  • Remove refuse and recyclables, and ensure proper disposal.
  • Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of equipment, cleaning chemicals, and personal protective equipment.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 5 years of relevant janitorial work experience.
  • Experience with daily cleaning and maintaining designated spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and conference rooms.
  • Must have experience with floor buffers, carpet shampooers, and other cleaning equipment.
  • Must have experience with using cleaning supplies, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures, and occupational hazards safety rules.
  • Background in handling, mixing, and storing cleaning chemicals.
  • Monitoring and reporting necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
  • Reporting needs and concerns to appropriate staff, including submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels.
Work Environment
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
  • Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms.
  • Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders.
