Position Overview

The Senior Integration Solutions Expert is tasked with becoming the authority on all MarketSource applications and will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of integrations within our operational framework. This role collaborates closely with various internal teams and may also involve engagement with external partners to accurately configure each application and define integration requirements. The Senior Integration Solutions Expert is recognized as the subject matter authority (SME) on integrations, which encompasses but is not limited to: vendor systems/software, business technical solutions, process enhancements, and MarketSource's data repository.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and adhere to the Quality Assurance (QA) process to facilitate IT's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop technical specifications for integration requirements.
  • Evaluate technical specifications documents prepared by internal stakeholders (e.g., Solution Architect, System Analyst, and Business Process Analyst) to ensure thoroughness and completeness, providing best practice recommendations as necessary.
  • Draft technical specifications for integrations, reports, etc., ensuring they are comprehensive, precise, and incorporate best practice technical advice.
  • Configure systems using tools such as Tableau, SQL queries, Matillion, Mulesoft, and other relevant integration and ETL technologies.
  • Diagnose integration warnings, failures, and logical discrepancies to identify root causes and suggest potential solutions.
  • Oversee and maintain work requests to ensure they are appropriately addressed and updated.
  • Facilitate integration efforts for business purposes with both internal and external IT and business teams.
  • Engage with vendor partners as necessary for solutions and support.
  • Lead program launches and initiatives focused on continuous improvement from a technical perspective.
  • Contribute to identifying and maintaining team best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, particularly SaaS applications, and familiarity with technologies that support these applications.
  • Proven proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of MarketSource's business concepts and operational functions.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in team environments (both in-person and virtual) as well as independently.
  • Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal) that enable the translation of business requirements into developer specifications.
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills for mid to high complexity issues; ability to discern root causes and differentiate between perceived and actual problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, or work items concurrently while meeting prioritized deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL scripting (e.g., Select, Filter, Join).
  • Attention to data quality and experience in enforcing data governance.
  • Flexibility and adaptability beyond assigned core responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

Job Requirements:

  • Availability for four (4) in-office workdays per week with the option to work remotely or in-office on the fifth (5th) day.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst/Consulting role, or a related position such as IT Technical Specialist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical certifications are advantageous.
