Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Soliant. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering direct therapy services, implementing treatment plans, and contributing to the overall success of our therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing therapy plans developed by SLPs, ensuring accurate and effective treatment.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions under supervision, utilizing various communication disorders and therapy techniques.
  • Document client progress and update records accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Support clients in practicing communication and swallowing techniques, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid California SLPA license.
  • Experience with various communication disorders and therapy techniques.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
