We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at Soliant in Palm Springs, CA.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the SLP, providing direct therapy services to students.
- Conduct therapy sessions as directed by the SLP, both individually and in group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting findings to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication and learning goals.
- Assist in developing and adapting materials and activities for therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Valid SLPA license or certification in California.
- Previous experience working with students with speech and language disorders is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
