POSITION SUMMARY


The Department of Neurology at Mount Sinai Health System is on the lookout for a qualified MD or MD/PhD to fill a role at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position will focus on spearheading a research initiative centered on PET imaging related to Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.


The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of scholarly publications, successful research funding, collaborative efforts, and specialized knowledge in the utilization of PET biomarkers within Alzheimer's disease studies.


The selected individual's research will play a vital role in the Biomarker Core of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Mount Sinai, collaborating with experts from the Loeb Center for Alzheimer's Disease, the Translational Molecular Imaging Institute, and various departments including Neurology, Radiology, and Neuroscience.


Clinical responsibilities may encompass approximately 20% of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS
Compensation is projected to range from $210,000 to $350,000, exclusive of bonuses or additional benefits.

SALARY DISCLOSURE


Mount Sinai Health System adheres to the New York City law regarding salary transparency in job postings. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, specialization, historical productivity, and community needs.


As a result, actual salaries may align closer to either end of the stated range and, in some cases, may exceed the listed range.


This salary range pertains to full-time positions and does not account for bonuses or additional benefits.
