Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expertise in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance to all aircraft-related production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment, applying corrective action to resolve recurring issues.
  2. Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform required duties in accordance with recommended schedules to ensure equipment reliability and quality.
  3. Equipment Setup and Calibration: Perform setup and calibrations on scheduled intervals for all aircraft-related production equipment.
  4. Data Entry and Reporting: Input required data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for machine reliability and control.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Collaboration and Communication: Interface daily with key management and production personnel regarding all aircraft-related production equipment.
  2. Engineering Support: Assist with engineering acceptance testing and training.

Requirements:

  1. Shift Flexibility: Ability to work any shift.
  2. Technical Expertise: Background in CNC equipment and GSE equipment is a plus.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Must be able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
  4. Organizational Skills: Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
  5. Technical Knowledge: Must have demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls aspects of factory automation systems and the integration of devices used.
  6. Additional Skills: Working knowledge of replacing spindles, ball screws, linear guide ways, bearings, hydraulics repairs, and precision machine/laser alignments is a plus.
  7. Computer Skills: A working knowledge of PC-based Microsoft Office and experience with computerized maintenance management software relevant to spare parts management, work order creation, and preventive maintenance is preferred.
