Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) eager to make a difference in the lives of individuals facing substance abuse challenges? At Amergis, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care in a supportive environment.
Position Overview
As an LPN in our treatment facility, you will play a vital role in supporting patients during their detoxification journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and ensuring their comfort upon arrival
- Monitoring vital signs to assess patient health
- Providing education and guidance to patients about their treatment
- Collaborating with the healthcare team for effective patient discharges
Contract Details
This position offers a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension. We provide flexible scheduling options, including:
- 36/48 hour work weeks
- Day and Night shifts available (7a-7p, 7p-7a)
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid NC or compact LPN license
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Experience in substance abuse or psychiatric care
