As a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator at Genuine Parts Company, you will play a vital role in maintaining our warehouse's inventory levels and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This position is perfect for someone with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the receiving, stocking, and organization of inventory within our warehouse. This includes pulling orders for dispatchers, cleaning up and disposing of boxes and packaging materials, and adhering to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull orders for dispatchers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts to customers
  • Clean and dispose of boxes, packaging materials, and pallets, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and dusting, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Operate a computer terminal to manage inventory levels and track orders

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds using a dolly
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach high shelves (up to 8 feet) with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary
