Job Summary

As a Radiology/CT Staff Technologist, you will perform diagnostic exams using CT and radiology imaging equipment, working under the direction of a Radiologist and Supervisor.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas of procedures required.
  • Work independently, exercising creativity and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities, prioritizing scheduling of work.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information.
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited school of Radiology required.
  • ARRT Certification is required.
  • Must be Registered in CT or have CT experience required for this position.
  • Graduate or graduation eligible of accredited ARRT Program.
  • BLS Required for this position.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasional kneeling/stooping/bending.
  • Occasional standing/walking.
  • Occasional pushing/pulling.
  • Occasional intensive work, requires reading, writing, & talking.

  • Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
  • Complete annual education requirements.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Wear identification while on duty.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situation.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, and maintain a positive attitude.
